Lucky Dube

August 3, 1964 – October 18, 2007

Lucky Dube gunned down in the prime of his life - Read about the tragedy

It is with such sadness that we yet again witness the senseless killing of an international star. The world has gone mad!

In dedication to Lucky Dube and his desire to live in peace, I place here his view of life and the celebration of it and his pleas about the crazyness of it all.

Celebrate Life

We're living in the world
With alot of crazy people
We're living in the world
With psychopaths
Everyone of them wants to rule
The world
Some people have the front row seat
At the top of the world
Some people have nothing but just a life
Problems are there left and right
Liars, cheaters, politicians and black stabbers
Making life a little bit more unbearable
It is a give or take world
So you got to take what you can when you can
Make the best of it. Wo!!

Chorus
say yeah!! Celebrate life
Say yeah!! Life is good.

We're living in the world
With demented people
There's a man standing on the edge of the bridge
Ready to end it all
Some people don't know what life is worth
Some people have the front row seat at the gates of hell
You could be having problems right now
But there's no problem worth your life
People fight to stay alive every day
Cause they know, life is worth more than worries.
So you got to take what you can when can
Make the best of it, Wo!! Ho!! Wo!! Ho!!

Chorus
Say Yeah,yeah celebrate life
Say Yeah, yeah life is good.

Till fade.

South Africa 36 - England 0

No matter how you look at it, South Africa is set on its winning streak in The Rugby World Cup and the performance against England can only be described as fantastic..

THE RUGBY WORLD CUP
The Top Try Scorer so far is our Brian Habana with 4 tries.
The Top Points Scorer so far is our Percy Montgomery with 47 points.

THE GAME
J P Pietersen scored 2 tries in the South Africa v England match and the best scrum-half in the world, Fourie du Preez not only made tries possible, but scored a try about 15 minutes from full-time and deservedly was Man of the Match.

When England's star player Jason Robinson limped off the field with a hamstring injury, things started to really go awry for the champions, and they never recovered.

All in all, South Africa is cruising to the quarter-finals and the inevitable meeting with New Zealand. Lets put our hearts behind the Boks!

Sept 11, 2001

Today it is 6 years since that day we sat glued to our television sets watching in disbelief the destruction.

We must remember the 2993 souls (including the 19 terrorists) that perished in the madness perpetrated in the name of religion. May this day also remind us that as the human race, we have failed terribly over the millennia - starting wars, killing people, all in the name of religion.

No wonder that religion is starting to take a back seat.

The time has come for a new world order - of peace and tolerance between nations, between races and even between sexes. The time has come to mend our mistakes of the past.

We should look towards our True Leaders and The Elders amongst us to help save this planet from total destruction.

The Elders

This is far too an important happening in the evolution of the human race to go unnoticed and I therefore quote the information word for word from SouthAfrica.info

Mandela launches The Elders
19 July 2007

Nelson Mandela marked his 89th birthday on Wednesday by announcing the formation of The Elders, a group comprising former heads of state, Nobel laureates, leading entrepreneurs and philanthropists who will "contribute their wisdom, independent leadership and integrity to tackle some of the world's toughest problems".

Mandela was joined by fellow founding members South African Archbishop emeritus Desmond Tutu, philanthropist Graca Machel, former United Nations chief Kofi Annan, former US President Jimmy Carter, former Irish Prime Minister Mary Robinson and Bangladeshi social banker Muhammad Yunus.

"This group can speak freely and boldly, working both publicly and behind the scenes on whatever actions need to be taken," Mandela said.

"Together we will work to support courage where there is fear, foster agreement where there is conflict, and inspire hope where there is despair."

The Elders' chairperson Tutu remarked, "Despite all of the ghastliness that is around, human beings are made for goodness. The ones who ought to be held in high regard are not the ones who are militarily powerful, nor even economically prosperous. They are the ones who have a commitment to try and make the world a better place."

"We, The Elders, will endeavour to support those people and do our best for humanity," Tutu said.

A statement issued by they new group states that The Elders will use their collective skills and experience to suggest new approaches to tackling global issues, and will be working together over the next several months to consider which issues to approach first.

"The Elders' criteria are not only the magnitude and importance of the challenge, but a deliberate view that their role could contribute significantly to solving the problem," the statement explained.

Though working independently, the group will work to complement the efforts of other organisations, seeking opportunities to partner established groups where possible.

"I see The Elders as a small but independent group that may fill an existing void in the world community," Carter said.

"Almost impervious to the consequences of outside criticism, the group will conduct unrestrained analyses of important and complex issues and share our ideas with the general public and with others who might take action to resolve problems."

The Elders will invite new members who share the attributes of current group members - trusted, respected worldly-wise individuals with a proven commitment and record of contributing to solving global problems. Elders will step down if they are elected to public office.
"I have worked with extraordinary people at the community level, people who have brilliant ideas and are making a huge effort to solve problems but often their contribution is localized, and their voices are not strong enough to be heard," Machel explained.

"The Elders can play a role in amplifying the voices of the millions of citizens of the world."

'Dedicated group of leaders'

Several years ago entrepreneur Richard Branson and musician and activist Peter Gabriel discussed with Mandela the obstacles to solving difficult conflicts facing the world.

Their idea of a small, dedicated group of leaders, working objectively and without any vested personal interest in the outcome, began to develop and eventually grew into The Elders.
"In traditional societies, the elders always had a role in conflict resolution, long-term thinking and applying wisdom wherever it was needed. We are moving to this global village and yet we don't have our global elders," Gabriel said.

"The Elders can be a group who have the trust of the world, who can speak freely, be fiercely independent, and respond fast and flexibly in conflict situations."

A group of founders, including Branson and Gabriel, as well as by Ray and Michael Chambers, Bridgeway Foundation, Pam Omidyar, Humanity United, Amy Robbins, Shashi Ruia, Dick Tarlow and The United Nations Foundation will fund the Elders.

"This group of Elders will bring hope and wisdom back into the world. To play a role in bringing us together to stop unnecessary human suffering and to celebrate the wonderful world that we are so privileged to be part of," Branson enthused.

Crop Circles & Nazca Lines

This crop circle measuring 60 meters in diameter appeared on Saturday 7th July 2007 near the local airport in a corn field at Corcelles-près-Payerne, Switzerland and was spotted by pilot Francois Blanchoud when he flew over.

Well, this phenomenon which was held as a hoax a couple of years ago, just won't go away. And we are always told that this is a natural phenomenon. How natural can it be when these seemingly appear overnight and are so large in size? And as can be seen in this picture the corn all face in a circular motion right up to the centre of the circle.

Note that the corn stalks are not broken in any way, but bent. And if you look closely at the centre it is as if they have been bent and "tucked in", not at random but in complete harmonic order, like a lady would do with her hair, the twisting action creating an impossible to mimic action - totally impossible for any person to achieve with corn stalks!

This image is of an older one discovered a number of years back, but in this case the symmetry has been broken by 3 smaller circles and a bit of a circle, plus what seems to be points. Could this be a star map of sorts?

The almost "impossible" patterns that has been observed, must cause any sane person to really think hard about these "wonders."

Also see http://astro.extra.hu/cropcirc.htm for a large number of crop circle pictures.

This Sillbury Hill, UK crop circle is so complicated, even the patterning within the flattened stalks would be impossible to replicate by human hands or even man-made machines. The actual crop growth lines are exquisitely incorporated within the flattened stalks!

The Nazca lines is a similar mystery. Both of these "unexplained phenomena" can only really be viewed from the air and in that lies the REAL mystery. They are not appreciated fully at ground level observation. They are in both instances also large as if created by u huge "unseen" hand.

At 120 m tall, he is the largest ancient human figure in the world, the Giant of Attacama, Chile. And the sheer size is such that one can only appreciate it from the air - 900BCE? Who had aircraft?
Lastly, here is a picture taken from a sattelite to show the real size of the Naszca lines!

11:11

What is this guy going to write now you may ask - what a stupid title? 11:11 Gmmfff! Well, let me just say this, when you have read my super-outaspace rantings about 11:11, you are gonna send me flowers, gifts and lots of get well soon wishes!

Midwayers are beings that exist halfway between human mortals and the angelic order. Hence the name midwayer. The picture shows a purported midwayer photographed in the woods in Canada

To tell you the honest truth, I had never heard about a "Midwayer" until Monday 25 June 2007 at 11:11. That is when I casually glanced down at my cellphone lying on my desk. The time showed 11:11. A colleague happened to be in my office and I went off pop! Why is it that I see these things? Why me? What have I done to deserve this? And at 11:12 my computer switched off! WOW, that scared me.

For more than 1 year now I have continually been reminded of this phenomenon. I would get in my car, and the digital clock is not in my immediate view, but my eye would swing over and there it is, 11:11! Or, I would be driving and something out of the blue would come to mind about the time, and there it would be! I would walk into my house after a power failure and the clock would be showing 11:11 or 22:22, the wrong time! I spoke to my friends about it. I spoke to my parents about it. Nobody had an answer. It was as if some strange phenomena was getting me to fucus on the time at specific times. I had no idea what was happening to me, until I googled 11:11.

1111spiritguardians.com says the following about the phenomenon:

These 11:11 Wake-Up Calls on your digital clocks, mobile phones, VCR’s and microwaves are the "trademark" prompts of a group of just 1,111 fun-loving Spirit Guardians, or Angels. Once they have your attention, they will use other digits, like 12:34, or 2:22 to remind you of their presence. Invisible to our eyes, they are very real. You can even change your clocks in the house, and you will still be prompted, at the "wrong" time. You can't stop it, because YOU aren't doing it.

Whoa! I am being contacted by spirits or angels? For what reason? Again, Why me?

http://www.crystalinks.com/11.11.html has this to say:

11 is a double digit and is therefore considered a Master or Power Number. In Numerology 11 represents impractical idealism, visionary, refinement of ideals, intuition, revelation, artistic and inventive genius, avant-garde, androgynous, film, fame, refinement fulfilled when working with a practical partner. Eleven is a higher octave of the number two . It carries psychic vibrations and has an equal balance of masculine and feminine properties. Because eleven contains many gifts such as psychic awareness and a keen sense of sensitivity, it also has negative effects such as treachery and betrayal from secret enemies.

But it was not until I read Uri Geller that I realised how deep this really goes:

This can presently be perceived as a crack between two worlds.

It is like a bridge which has the inherent potential of linking together two very different spirals of energy.

As we unite together as One, bringing together our fragments of the key,
we not only create the key, but we make visible the Doorway.

Thus this bridge functions as an invisible door or a doorway into the Invisible realm.

The 11:11 is the bridge to an entirely different spiral of evolution.

The symbol of 11:11 was pre-encoded into our cellular memory banks long ago.

11:11 is the pre-encoded trigger and the key to the mysteries of the universe and beyond.

So what this tells me is that there are a few million of us 11:11'ers on planet earth, but why are we targeted specifically?

Why Me?

Well we only have theories on this. They have not yet explained who they pick. It could be as simple as

a) because they can prompt you, and others are not receptive. It does seem that most contactees have excellent latent psychic abilities. This follows - if they can trigger your brain to look somewhere, or at a clock at the right time, then they can impress a wider range of thoughts into your mind too.

b) or because you have unique skills or abilites that they would like to utilise

c) or because you are either already in an important role, or will be in an important role. We are not suggesting you are running the country, but you might be a teacher, or a painter, or a musician - someone who will influence many people. The Correcting Time will be a time when orthodoxy fails, and folks will be looking for answers. And they will be fearful. They will need reassurance. You may thus be the leading edge - the early adopters of new paradigms.

If there anyone reading this living in Cape Town, South Africa area having the same experiences, please contact me.

Finally

What It Really Means. Not my words.

Getting the 11:11 PM wake-up calls, and the 11:11 AM reminder calls, tells you more about you than it does about the 1,111 Secondary Midwayers.

1. You are genetically capable of 2-way contact with the 1,111 and other Celestials.

2. You are prepared to be guided -- Obtain information from those who measure their IQ's in the thousands.

3. You are fair in your dealings with others, and useful to the 1,111.

4. You are 'ascending' in spiritual growth.

5. I'm often told they will also need you at some distant future time, but I hardly ever get details. Getting info on the future of others is a rare thing.

6. And most important, your Thought Adjuster (Spirit Self or God Fragment) wishes for you to get involved.

Your best approach would be stillness meditation.

So, if you don't hear from me for a while, I AM IN MEDITATION! smile :-)

Guilt

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

"Guilt is the emotion or belief that one has done something wrong. From a legal perspective it can also refer to the condition of having done something legally wrong, regardless of how one feels about it."

Now this is an interesting human condition, and alas it is found in the animal kingdom too, how else can you describe the expression in the picture above?

There are various forms of guilt, including collective guilt - guilt as in after the destruction of Europe and the extermination of the Jews, Freemasons, Gays and other less fortunate souls (and hereby I am by no means equating these groups) that did not fit in with the Uber-plan of the Nazi Reich. Also that collective guilt of the white minority in South Africa after voting in the oppressive apartheid regime for decades.

But the most fundemental guilt we at times feel, is that of pressures, even peer pressures, from those that one would call friends. Why is it that one feels a great sense of guilt when you want to do something special with one friend and the other/s look at you with soulful eyes saying "Hey, what about me? Have you forgotten about me? What did I do to deserve this?" Ad Nauseum...

Now for all those who possibly know me, the question might come up: "Why is he rambling on about this subject?" Well read between the lines those who make others feel guilty uneccessarily - fucking grow up! I myself had been guilt-ridden a few times this past week when I zoomed past some poor person sitting on the pavement in my flashy convertible, should I not have stopped and offered this unfortunate person something to eat or drink? Maybe he/she was just having a rest and did not need my mingling in his/her affairs! And hell do I feel guilt when I break the sound barrier in a 120km/hour zone! I also feel guilty that I do not see some of my friends and family more regularly - but it is a question of dealing with it in a calm manner.

If humanity could give 1c for every guilt trip every person has on a daily basis, we could feed every living being on this planet and do away with poverty, whether in Darfur or Rio de Janeiro.

In the old days in Greece the accused was permitted to propose his or her own remedy, which might in fact be a reward, while the accuser proposed another, and the jury chose between. This forced the accused to effectively bet on his support in the community - as Socrates did when he proposed "room and board in the town hall" as his fate. He lost, and he drank hemlock, a poison, as advised by his accuser. It was Socrates' own Socratic Method of examining the moral concepts of Good and Justice which got him into trouble. He was nevertheless found guilty for corrupting the youth of Athens and admitted in court that he could have avoided the trial by abandoning philosophy and going home to mind his own business.

Which is what I am going to do now.

Try

There is a really great quote from Star wars:

Try not. Do or do not, there is no try. -- Yoda

Kiss My Ass

This past weekend I had some strange happenings in my life, none of which upsets me more than so-called friends screwing up their friends' lives. It pisses me off no end.

A very dear friend of mine was done in, bamboozled by another ex-dear friend of mine.

This brings me for a moment to the picture of the pink bunny above and the "KISS-MY-ASS" saying. These three little words had a lot of people in deep trouble, going all the way back to the very first person to utter the dreaded thing, yet when you try and find out who coined it, its another story. The massive internet produced nothing in this regard except that the term has been widely used by those doing the heavy wrestling thing.

I feel that I should be uttering these three words more and more whenever this ex-friend's (fiend) name is used: "He can Kiss My Ass, I will screw him over like he is screwing my friend over. This is tantamount to hate-speech, but I ask you what else can one say in a situation like this. How dare one not take sides when this happens, are we not to be our Brother's Keeper?

Time out - gotta run ...

Hubbling through space - Is there a God?

Originally first published on the web: 9.11.2006

Preface to "ODYSSEY OF MANKIND"
© 2004 - being authored by Michael Fairchild (Blogger's Writer Pseudonym)

The beauty of the world and the orderly arrangement of everything celestial make us confess that there is an excellent and eternal nature, which ought to be worshipped and admired by all mankind. - CICERO
I AM THAT I AM. [i]
Thus spoke God of the Israelites. Who or what is God? Where do we come from and where are we destined? These questions seem to be the essence of all existence.

According to biblical verse and shared by many other religions and philosophies throughout the world, ‘In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.’ [ii]
The pursuit in finding the solution to this age-old controversy is deep-seated in the collective human psyche. Cosmologists and scientists who are not necessarily God-fearing men will find difficulty in accepting an easy explanation for the creation of the universe.

Our earth and the universe are infinitely older than what was written about, preached about and thought of a few centuries ago. As a matter of fact, people like Cop ernicus and others would have been burnt as heretics if they had openly blasphemed against the early church.

Daily archaeological and cosmological discoveries bring us closer to a more realistic view of our planet and mankind’s origins. So where do we start unravelling this age-old question? Well, some will say this is easy, start at the beginning. It’s easier said than done.

If we want to explain something about the prese

nt state of the universe - why, for example, galaxies have the shapes and sizes they do - we need to work backward in time, reconstructing the past history of the universe using our knowledge of how matter behaves under conditions of very high density and temperature. We would like to check our deductions against pieces of evidence left in the universe from past events; unfortunately, things are not so simple.

The universe covers its tracks very effectively, and there are few pristine remnants of the distant past. But more fundamentally, we do not know all the ways in which matter can behave at extreme temperatures and densities. Experiments on Earth, limited by

economic realities as well as by constraints of size and available power, are unable to simulate fully the conditions that would have been obtained in the universe during the first hundredth of a second of its expansion history. [iii]

Fred Hoyle’s “big-bang theory” with at its core the description of a universe expanding into being from a dense singular state at a finite time in the past, was finally proven by the discovery in 1965 by the radio engineers Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson of the microwave background radiation [MF1] left by this cataclysmic cosmic event.

So in order to understand what happened at the birth of the universe, cosmologists had to go back in time to the first fraction of a second after the big bang. This minute ‘explosion’ of light was an undeniable crucible of fierce heat where forces were battling for supremacy.

Spontaneously matter was being created as explained by Einstein’s theory of relativity E=mc² where Energy (E) is equivalent to matter (m) multiplied by the speed of light (c) squared. But at the same time certain natural rules had to be obeyed; every time a particle of matter was created another particle of anti-matter was also created with opposite properties i.e. positive and negative. But in this cauldron the battalions of matter and anti-matter waged war for supremacy. Every now and then out of the billions of interactions one more particle of matter would exist than the equal amounts of matter and anti-matter which would cancel each other out. And that insignificant extra bit is responsible for everything we see today.

This poses the controversial question: ‘Does this mean that God in his energy is equal to matter and light; therefore the Creator being the creation itself?’
…I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. [v]

Every good gift and every perfect gift from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. [iv]

If the universe was created from a minute dense singularity as per the theorems of Penrose, Hawking, Geroch and Ellis some 12 to 15 billion years ago and expanding at an increasing rate into all directions, how do we marry or fuse this viewpoint with that of the religious or quasi-religious belief systems stating that God created the Earth and heavens, ready for habitat?

There will always be disagreement on how the universe was created, and if the “big-bang theory” can be accepted as fact, then what was the essence of the void before creation? Or do we talk of recreation, even of many universes or the multiverse that Stephen Hawking talks about?

The creation, maintenance and annihilation of this material cosmic manifestation are completely dependent on the supreme will of the Personality of Godhead. “At the end of the millennium” means at the death of Brahma. Brahma lives for one hundred years, and his day is calculated at 4,300,000,000 of our earthly years. His night is of the same duration. His month consists of thirty such days and nights, and his year of twelve months. After one hundred such years, when Brahma dies, the devastation or annihilation takes place; this means that the energy manifested by the Supreme Lord is again wound up in Himself. Then again, when there is a need to manifest the cosmic world, it is done by his will. “Although I am one, I shall become many.” This is the Vedic aphorism. He expands himself in this material energy, and the whole cosmic manifestation again takes place. [vi]

The Biblical diction reiterate that we humans were created and placed here by an all-powerful force called God. Even the Vedas talks about the creation of the universe by a Supreme Lord. Does this solve the explanations we seek rather than elucidating it through cosmologists, particle scientists and mathematicians? Without knowing for sure the true origins of our universe, we will forever have this great debate. The more we know, the more we want to know. Using scientific experiments to find the truth creates another dilemma. It has been said that when you want a certain result in an experiment, the probability is great that you will find it so. It is almost as if the desire for closure on this age-old quest brings us closer and closer to the truth.

Although men have pondered on the question of the origin of life for many millennia, all metaphysical solutions which have been proposed converge in one regard. They embody some arbitrary feat of creation, one that implies an inexplicable miracle of one type or another. This miracle may or may not involve the intervention of a named supernatural being – such as God in the Old Testament – but, by some form of definition, the event of creation is deliberately placed beyond the scope of empirical science. There is undoubtedly a fairly wide spectrum of belief on this matter, ranging from creation ex nihilo to transmutation of non-living to living material, but when it comes to fundamentals the differences of attitude even between widely separated cultures of the world are surprisingly small. In Vedic as well as Buddhist scriptures, beliefs concerning the nature of life are moulded by the doctrines of karma (destiny) and rebirth. Buddhism does not postulate a divine creator: the assertion is that the universe has no absolute beginning or end and that the creation and destruction follow one another in recurrent cycles. Belief in rebirth also implies a unity of all forms of life, human as well as non-human, and admits the possibility of transmutation from one form to another. [vii]

It is also written:

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. [viii]

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first earth heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. [ix]

If it is inevitable that our universe will destruct in millions of years and then maybe be recreated, why do mortals occupy the little time they have left on this planet searching for the ultimate answers? It seems that we are born to be inquisitive, to stretch the limits of our knowledge, to search for the Holy Grail so to speak, in our own minuscule way. There is also the hope, and for some the belief that we shall be reborn again and again to ultimately find the answers we seek.

Many theorems relating to the origins of our universe have come and gone, many theories have eventually been proven and as man continues the search into the unknown many more will be actualised.
